Embark on an unforgettable bird-watching expedition as we explore the diverse landscapes and rich avian habitats of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Over the course of 15 days, we expect to encounter an incredible diversity of species including virtually all the Arabian Peninsula endemics, including several rarely-seen species, and three sought-after bird families (Hypocolius, Scrub-warbler, and Crab-plover). Furthermore, our tour is timed to coincide with the northward Palearctic migration boosting the list of probable species even further.

Our journey begins in Kuwait, where we'll visit renowned sites like Al-Shaheed Park, Jahra Pools Reserve, and Sulaibikhat Bay, seeking out rarities such as the Gray Hypocolius, Basra Reed Warbler, Crab-Plover, Turkestan (Red-tailed) Shrike, White-throated Robin, Pale Rock Finch, Greater Hoopoe-lark, and Pallid Harrier. A pelagic to three of Kuwait’s Islands should offer chances at Socotra Cormorant, Bridled and White-cheeked Terns, Slender-billed Gull, and perhaps even the Red-billed (Arabian) Tropicbird. As we cross the border into Saudi Arabia, the excitement only intensifies. In Al-Baha, we'll search for species like Arabian Green Bee-eater, Nile Valley Sunbird, Philiby’s Partridge, and Arabian Wheatear, while in Tanomah and Al Namas, we may find the Arabian Serin, Yemen Thrush, Air Magpie, Arabian Partridge, Yemen Warbler, and Gambaga Flycatcher. At Abha, our list could expand to include African Grey Hornbill, Arabian Scops Owl, and Arabian Woodpecker. Finally, our tour will end near Jazan, where we'll explore the coast for waders and herons, and top of our list will be the Crab-Plover, and Sooty, Slender-billed and White-eyed Gulls. In Al-Sad Lake, we'll keep our eyes peeled for Nubian and Plain Nightjar, and possibly even the Arabian Golden Sparrow.
